H Pylori and L-dopa absorption, global assessment (last one, i promise)
so, just when i thought i was moving on from H Pylori, Jon Pincus sent me an email about H Pylori interfering with L-dopa absorption, leading to motor fluctuations in those with Parkinson disease. and H Pylori eradication led to symptomatic Parkinson's improvement. (see https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16801644/ ), and for a more inclusive review, see https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4130840/ so, a guarded thanks to Jon, a plus for the information but a minus for H Pylori blog prolongation.... ----------------------- and, since i am still on H Pylori, i will add a study done by Neil Gupta and others on non-communicable diseases from infectious causes, noting H Pylori is number 1 globally!!!!
